Life begins at the end of your comfort zone

2019 is the year of being uncomfortable. It is the year of pushing your boundaries and really showing yourself what you are capable of. If, like myself, you left 2018 feeling like your life had become stagnant and the repetitions of your daily routine left you feeling safe and uninspired then you need to flip the switch.

For as long as i can remember my life has been ruled by my emotions and their inability to push further than what's in my grasp. I think it got to a stage where i was so used to just grabbing what was within arms reach that i never felt the need to branch out beyond that grasp to see what was waiting for me beyond it. Well until now anyway...

What's changing here this 2019

2019 is going to be the year of big goals and even bigger ambitions and my blog is going to be the forefront of it all. I am excited to spend more time on the keyboard and both in front and behind of the camera.

January is one of the biggest months for setting new goals and seeing changes in bloggers and non-bloggers alike. It's 31 days of resolution setting, goal setting, organising your life and forming new habits to hopefully continue for the whole 2019. I personally went a little bit mad this year and have categorised all of my goals by topic, so i have a section for my blog, fitness, relationships etc and i am feeling more motivated than an previous year to really get out there and produce the best content i can for you guys.

New Year New Style

It is the start of a new year and already there are plenty of posts going up about New Years Resolutions, some being broken already (Dry January) Whoops. I myself decided to set a pretty big challenge for myself this year and that is to completely overhaul my wardrobe and my style. Over the last 6 months i have noticed my fashion sense change and i want 2019 to be the year i get my wardrobe to reflect that and to inspire me rather than be a mess of ill fitting dresses and the same 3 outfits i wear everyday.

I want to experiment more with colours, textures and styles that i have always loved but felt too scared to wear out at the possibility that i might get dodgy looks or laughs in the street. This year i want to let go and look at what could happen if i just go for it and dress for the mood that i want to create rather than blending into the background.

So in preparation for my resolution i took to Pinterest on NYE and deleted all my boards and started afresh. I looked at my inspirations on Instagram such as LornaLuxe and Sarahjholder and LydiaEMillen and looked for similar fashions and looks on Pinterest. I started to set up different boards for different styles and things that i had been looking to incorporate into my wardrobe this year. Heres a few different styles im fucking with this 2019.

How to juggle your life like a pro....

Day two of Blogmas is here and i am sticking to the organisational theme that is going to set us up for an incredible start to 2019. Living an organised life is one of those things that everyone wants but sadly many of us struggle to find the perfect balance when juggling a million different things at once. It can often be a cruel cycle once your workload starts to build up it is hard to take the time to try and achieve a perfect balance and get ahead of the wave.

Top tips to survive the Winter

It's that time of year again where the days get shorter, the air has that constant chill to it and your motivation starts to plummet as duvet days and hot chocolate becomes your new obsessions. Winter is always known as that bittersweet season because you just love to hate it. We all hate the flu and freezing our asses off in the cold but we love the snow, the hot chocolate, the cuddly date nights and most of all, the reminder that Christmas is fast approaching.

The most damaging thing in the winter for most of us is that sudden lack of motivation; once that temperature drops, so does our desire to do anything other than stay inside. We stop going to the gym, we find reasons to cancel our dinner plans and whats worse, we slack off on work that needs to be done yesterday. Today, i wanted to drop a few of my top tips for surviving the winter and keeping that motivation in top form while we load up ready for 2019 to hit us like brick wall in a month. So if like me, you need that little bit of extra help this winter then keep on reading and reap the benefits of hustling this holiday season.....

Hello my Beautiful readers, Today i am back with another addition to my Mental Health Series. For those of you who are not familiar with this series i use this series to bring awareness to Mental Health and the journeys that people face. This can be through my own story and tips and advice that i have or through guest posts. Today is a guest post by the beautiful Emily so i hope that, by reading this, you understand a little more about the difficulties that we face with Mental Illness.

I will be trying to make this a more regular series, publishing every Friday, so if you like the idea please do give this blog a follow to keep up to date. If you would like to write a guest post for this series then please do get in touch with me.

Trigger warning: Some writing on this post may be considered triggering and upsetting. I talk about suicide, molestation and medications.
